ARTEVUE ARTEPRIZE

New residency and cash award via a new App

Delfina Foundation is partnering with ArteVue, the first App dedicated to the discovery, curation, sharing and acquisition of work by emerging artists from all over the world, to launch the ArtePrize.  This annual global art prize, which artists aged 18 to 30 can only enter via the App, includes a three-month residency at Delfina Foundation and $15,000 USD.

Over the course of this summer, we welcome residents Avani Tanya (India), Oriol Vilanova (Spain/Belgium), Reem al Nasser (Saudi Arabia), Soyoung Chung (South Korea), Mariko Matsushita (Japan), Pedro Pires (Angola/Portugal), Oksana Sarzhevska-Kravсhenko (Ukraine), Amapola Prada (Peru) and Mehdi Farhadian (Iran).

As part of Shubbak Festival 2017, The Mosaic Rooms presents Shift, the UK’s first all-female show of artists from Saudi Arabia. The exhibition features work from current artist in residence Reem al Nasser and former resident Dana Awartani, with Zahra Al-Ghamdi

Next weekend in Nottingham

Here, There & Everywhere

As part of Here, There & Everywhere, New Art Exchange will hold a weekend launch of two new exhibitions: Bhairav, a newly commissioned film by Munir Kabani and Nikhil Chopra, and Dam Pani a new work by Tasawar Bashir in collaboration with Brian Duffy.
