JOIN THE COUNTRYFILE PRESENTERS FOR A BRILLIANT SUMMERS' DAY OUT
Topping the list of new features for 2017 is ‘The Countryfile Theatre’ – hosted by John Culshaw, the stage where you′ll see the Countryfile presenters take the spotlight to share their stories and chat with the audience. Reserve your free seat at the Countryfile Theatre when you book your ticket to Countryfile Live. There′s also a strong chance you′ll spot one of the stars in all corners of the showground!


You might meet Matt Baker in the Farming for Action area, John Craven in the Craven Arms Pub or Tom Heap and Charlotte Smith deep in debate in the National Trust Theatre. Join Adam Henson with his rare breeds in the ‘Passion for British Livestock’ area, Ellie Harrison deep in the Wildlife Zone or Anita Rani introducing some good old–fashioned country entertainment on the Village Green.

AN ACTION PACKED FAMILY DAY OUT
As well as meeting the presenters, there′ll be loads of fun in store for all interests and ages. You can watch celebrated chefs demonstrate new recipes, or try your hand at a new outdoor sport (anyone for fishing?). Cheer on the talented animals at live races or join debates on the future of our countryside at the National Trust Theatre. Clamber on a giant tractor or enjoy a pint in the Craven Arms.

The grassy avenues of Countryfile Live will be lined with over 500 stalls. Small family-run businesses, artisan producers and high street brands will be side by side, all presenting their high quality wares. Everything from crafts, textiles, clothes, furniture, garden goodies, pet accessories, food and drink will be on sale.


So don’t forget to bring a few empty bags!

TANTALISE YOUR TASTE BUDS
In celebration of all food that is traditional and traceable, this four-day event brings together some of the finest independent producers.


From cheese and cider to cured meats and chocolate, you’ll be able to sample and buy some of the best of British food. The culinary journey in store will take you overseas – from Cuban sandwiches, Portuguese barbecue meats, Indonesian vegetables, real Italian pizza. With hundreds of producers exhibiting their delicious food and drink ranges, the hardest decision will be what to choose.
